About
About me – Teri.
In eighth grade, the teacher assigned a speech. I went home and found a big coffee table book on astrology. I read it cover to cover. Raised Catholic, I was a very mystical kid, enjoyed singing, praying and going to church. I guess no one really told me that there was a problem with metaphysical stuff so I just integrated it. The speech went well – I talked until the bell rang.
Teri Beran – At Mother McAuley, I played Maria in the Sound of Music. Musicals brought lots of people together sharing different talents. I got good grades, had fun with my friends and my boyfriend, worked a part-time job. Stayed pretty positive. Went to John Carroll University where my friends and I started a sorority called Zeta Tau Omega. We were a force to be reckoned with! With a degree in Economics, I went out into the world – specifically to Minnesota where I sold incontinent products to hospitals and nursing homes. There I discovered Unity and psychosynthesis and other new age things.
Teri Beran Kulat – Fast forward a bit, I graduated from law school, married Scott Kulat – hence the new last name. But professionally, law people know me as “Theresa” because I felt that was more serious than “Teri” and because Scott has a brother named “Terry.” I wanted to avoid confusion. Besides, I have two kids and I like having the same last name as they do. It also reflects that our karma is intertwined. I have Kulat karma whether I like it or not. And I enjoy transmuting karma.
So, if you want to know about my work as a collaborative lawyer, go to my other website. This one is for spiritual pursuits. It’s where I get to share my perspective on the spiritual path, energy work, metaphysics and other stuff. I hope you enjoy it and share your stories too.
